Lens Types
Single Vision
Single vision lenses are exactly as their name describes – lenses with one set focal distance. Up until your 40s these are probably your “all the time glasses” – however single vision lenses are also a great option for people who need an additional pair for their reading distance, computer work, music sheets, or a myriad of needs.
Progressive
Progressive lenses provide the most versatility for our patients that need support at a variety of focal distances. Often confused as “no-line bifocals”, progressive lenses actually start with your distance vision at the top and have a seamless transition through all your vision needs down to reading distance at the bottom.
Not all progressive lenses are created equal and that is why our office works with industry leading lens manufacturers to give you the best vision options available.
Workspace
Workspace lenses are similar to a traditional progressive, however the primary vision is designed for a working distance like a computer and seamless transitions to an ample reading area at the bottom. This subtle lens design difference allows patients better ergonomics with up close work with the freedom to navigate their workspace.
Neurolens
A state of the art advancement in lens technology that takes into account how both eyes see individually and then how they work together. Neurolens has been shown to alleviate eyestrain, headaches, neck pain, as well as many other symptoms not often taken into account when considering traditional vision solutions.
